Ahead of Lamine Yamal and Dembélé: Mbappé is the player with the most chances created in Europe

Kylian Mbappé is proving to be more than just a finisher at Real Madrid. According to official statistics, the French star has created 12 goal chances, the highest among all players in Europe’s top five leagues this season, placing him ahead of Lamine Yamal and Ousmane Dembélé.
A new role at Real Madrid
In addition to his creativity, Mbappé has already scored three goals in three matches in LaLiga, showing he is just as decisive as ever. His strong start puts him among the early contenders for LaLiga Player of the Year, alongside 17-year-old Barcelona sensation Lamine Yamal.
France returns to the pitch
This Friday (5), Mbappé leads France in a World Cup qualifier against Ukraine, scheduled for 3:45 pm (Brasília time). With a full-strength squad, Les Bleus are favorites to extend their unbeaten run.
The forward will make his 91st appearance for France. So far, he has 50 goals and 17 assists, cementing his place among the greatest in national team history.
World Cup numbers that impress
Mbappé’s biggest stage has always been the World Cup. Across two editions, he has played 14 matches, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists. He has also appeared in two consecutive finals (2018 and 2022), lifting the trophy in Russia.
Probable France attack
Against Ukraine, coach Didier Deschamps is expected to start Mbappé and Dembélé together, with Marcus Thuram in contention for the central role. In midfield, Aurélien Tchouaméni will be responsible for dictating the tempo.
