Dušan Vlahović in advanced talks with Milan amid Juventus exit rumors

Serbian striker Dušan Vlahović appears to be nearing the end of his time at Juventus, with reports indicating he is in advanced negotiations with AC Milan, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.com. Despite recent speculation linking him to Flamengo, Vlahović may be staying in Serie A, moving from one Italian giant to another.

The 24-year-old forward, once the league’s top scorer and considered one of Europe’s most promising strikers, has seen his stock decline in Turin. Juventus is reportedly open to selling him this summer and is in talks with Milan for a deal that could be completed in the coming days.

Milan Seeking Striker After Morata Disappointment

AC Milan, still in search of a reliable number 9, has turned to Vlahović after a failed stint with Álvaro Morata, who underperformed during his return to Italian football. Vlahović, who has a contract with Juventus until June 2026, is reportedly valued at €35 million, though the Bianconeri could accept a slightly lower offer to expedite the transfer.

The Rossoneri are said to have revived interest in the Serbian after previous negotiations which included a proposed player swap involving defender Malick Thiaw fell through. This time, both clubs are discussing a direct transfer.

Flamengo Interest Fading as Milan Take Lead

Although Flamengo’s sporting director José Boto had Vlahović on his wish list, the Brazilian side appears to be losing ground to Milan. Vlahović is understood to favor a stay in Italy, where he previously excelled under Massimiliano Allegri. A reunion with his former manager is seen as a possible catalyst for revitalizing his career.

In the 2023/24 season, Vlahović made 44 appearances for Juventus, scoring 17 goals and contributing five assists. Despite these respectable numbers, he has fallen out of favor in the club’s long-term plans.

Juve Open to Sale Amid Tactical Changes

Juventus is currently reshaping its attacking lineup and views Vlahović’s departure as a strategic decision. Club insiders have confirmed that while €35 million remains the benchmark, negotiations are flexible.

Should the deal be finalized, Milan would secure a high-profile striker with Serie A experience at a crucial moment, while Juventus would gain capital to reinvest.
