Barcelona coach Pere Romeu speaks about signings: “We still have a squad to compete”

Barcelona Women remain one of the strongest teams in world football, but their lack of movement in the current transfer market has raised concerns among fans. With 10 departures and only two signings, questions have been asked about whether the squad is deep enough to compete on all fronts.
Pere Romeu Responds to Concerns
Coach Pere Romeu downplayed worries, stressing that Barcelona still has the quality to fight for every title. He also highlighted the importance of young players stepping up from the academy.
“I’m very convinced that we still have the squad to compete against everyone and for everything. I think we’ll have a very good season. The young players, those on the reserve team, will help us a lot. Don’t doubt us, because we’ll keep fighting,” Romeu stated.
Possibility of New Signings
When asked about potential late arrivals before the window closes, the coach admitted anything can happen but warned fans not to expect major changes.
“In football, you never know; things can always happen in August. For now, we have the players we have and don’t expect many other changes,” Romeu concluded.
