Real Madrid Eye Enzo Fernández, Prepared to Sell Rodrygo, Camavinga, and Fran García to Fund Move

Real Madrid are reportedly planning a major midfield overhaul, with Chelsea star Enzo Fernández at the top of their summer wish list. In an effort to secure the Argentine international, the Spanish giants are willing to offload Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga, and Fran García to generate the necessary funds.
€150 Million Target
According to sources cited by Fichajes, Los Blancos are prepared to offer as much as €150 million for Fernández, one of Chelsea’s standout performers at the recent FIFA Club World Cup. The midfielder is seen as a long-term replacement for Toni Kroos, who retired at the end of the 2024/25 season.
While Chelsea are unlikely to let go of one of their key assets easily, Real Madrid believe a carefully crafted player sale strategy can make the high-profile deal feasible.
Rodrygo Could Fetch €100 Million
Among the trio of players Real Madrid are prepared to sell, Rodrygo is expected to bring in the largest transfer fee. Despite scoring 14 goals and providing 10 assists in 54 appearances last season, the Brazilian winger has recently fallen out of the starting XI under new management.
Interest from Liverpool and Arsenal could drive his transfer fee close to €100 million, making him central to Madrid’s financial calculations.
Camavinga on Guardiola’s Radar
Another high-value player on the market is Eduardo Camavinga, who is reportedly admired by Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola. With both midfielders playing similar roles, Madrid sees Camavinga as a negotiable asset if Fernández arrives.
Milan Move Likely for Fran García
Left-back Fran García is also likely to depart after slipping down the pecking order following Álvaro Carreras’s arrival. AC Milan, who recently brought in Luka Modric, are said to be front-runners in the race for the 25-year-old Spaniard.
García featured in 54 matches last season, starting in 35 and contributing with one goal and five assists.
Chelsea Could Also Lose Cole Palmer
While Madrid pursue Fernández, Chelsea are fighting to hold onto another emerging star. Cole Palmer, one of the Premier League’s breakout players last season, is being heavily targeted by Paris Saint-Germain, who are reportedly willing to offer €250 million for his services.
