Real Madrid eliminates Juventus and qualifies for the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup

Real Madrid secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Club World Cup on Tuesday after eliminating Juventus. Xabi Alonso’s team beat the Italians with a solitary goal from Gonzalo García.

In one of the great matches of the round of 16 of the Club World Cup, Real Madrid and Juventus played a great game of football. With chances on both sides, the two European giants came close to scoring in the first half but were unable to celebrate.

In the second half, a persistent move by Real Madrid became the moment of the match. On the right, Trent Alexander-Arnold took advantage of a Juventus cutback to cross for Gonzalo García to head in.
