Fluminense and Al Hilal are set to face each other this Friday (July 4) at 4:00 p.m. (Brasília time) in the quarterfinals of the FIFA Club World Cup. However, the weather could be a factor, with forecasts indicating the possibility of a strong storm in Orlando during the afternoon.

The match will take place at Camping World Stadium, with the winner advancing to the semifinals of the competition. According to The Weather Channel, storms are expected in the city, which could lead to delays or interruptions during the game.

Weather Already Disrupting the Tournament

Inclement weather has been a recurring problem for the Club World Cup in Orlando this summer. On June 17, the match between Mamelodi Sundowns and Ulsan, in Group F, was delayed by more than an hour at Inter&Co Stadium due to a weather alert.

Similarly, the June 20 clash between Benfica and Auckland City, in Group C, was suspended for nearly two hours because of severe weather conditions.

With the risk of storms again on the radar, fans and players should be prepared for possible interruptions in Friday’s quarterfinal.
