Barcelona’s Ferrán Torres is the target of Saudi clubs, who want to pay the club’s asking price

Striker offered €60M contract; Barça board to make decision soon
Ferrán Torres has become the latest target of Saudi Arabian clubs, with multiple teams expressing interest in signing the 25-year-old forward from FC Barcelona. According to Jijantes, the clubs are willing to pay the full asking price and offer the Spanish international a €60 million salary over a three-year deal equivalent to €20 million per season.
The Saudi sides are reportedly unconcerned about Barcelona’s valuation and intend to move quickly to close the deal before the start of the 2025–26 season.
Contract and market value
Ferrán Torres is currently under contract with Barcelona until June 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €40 million.
Last season, the striker was a regular presence in Xavi Hernández’s squad, appearing in 45 of the club’s 60 matches across all competitions. Although he started just 19 games, he managed to contribute significantly with 19 goals and 7 assists, despite playing only 921 minutes.
Barça management faces key decision
The potential sale of Torres now falls to head coach Hansi Flick and the club’s sporting department, who must decide whether to cash in on the forward. While Torres was not always a starter, his impact off the bench was noted by staff and fans alike.
Barcelona is also dealing with growing interest in other squad members. Robert Lewandowski has been linked to clubs in Saudi Arabia, and young right-back Héctor Fort is reportedly attracting offers from European sides.
Saudi Pro League continues European shopping spree
The interest in Ferrán Torres reflects the Saudi Pro League’s ongoing push to attract top-tier European talent. Backed by state-funded investment, clubs in the region continue to offer premium wages and meet transfer fees with little resistance.
If Ferrán accepts the move, he would join a growing list of La Liga players choosing Saudi Arabia over continued European competition a move that could reshape Barcelona’s attacking depth ahead of the new season.
