Paris Saint-Germain’s emphatic 5-0 victory over Inter Milan in the 2025 UEFA Champions League final sparked both jubilant celebrations and chaotic scenes in the streets of Paris. While many fans gathered peacefully to commemorate the club’s first-ever European title, some celebrations spiraled into unrest, with one incident involving a car being set on fire.
Fire and Police Intervention
Following the final whistle in Munich, large crowds of PSG supporters flooded iconic Parisian locations, including the Champs-Élysées and areas near the Parc des Princes. Amid the euphoria, a car was set ablaze by a group of overexcited fans. Firefighters on duty were able to quickly control the blaze, while police intervened with force to disperse crowds surrounding the incident.
Several fans were reportedly struck with batons as law enforcement attempted to contain the situation and prevent further vandalism.

PSG’s first-ever Champions League title came in style, with goals from Achraf Hakimi, Désiré Doué (2), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Mayulu sealing the biggest winning margin ever seen in a Champions League final. The French club became the 24th different team to win Europe’s top club competition and only the second French club to do so, following Marseille’s win in 1993.
