Without Cristiano Ronaldo, Al Nassr ‘crushes’ Al Okhdood in the Saudi championship

With Portuguese Otávio among the starters, the Riyadh club ‘dispatched’ Al Okhdood within the first 45 minutes, with goals from Ayman Yahya (17th minute), Colombian Jhon Duran (20th), Croatian Brozovic (27th) and Senegalese Sadio Mané (45+6), from a penalty.

If the chances of reversing the result were almost zero, they became even more so at the start of the second half, due to the sending off of Brazilian goalkeeper Paulo Vitor (48th), which left the home team even more vulnerable, with Duran (52nd) scoring once more, Mané three more (59th, 64th and 74th) and Marran (90+4) closing the score for the team from the Saudi capital, who achieved the club’s biggest ever victory in the championship.

With this victory, Al Nassr moved to the last place on the podium, with 63 points, but already far behind the isolated leader Al Ittihad (74) and second-placed Al Hilal (68).

Paulo Sérgio’s team remains in 17th and penultimate place in the competition, with 28.
