Sport and Internacional tie in the Brazilian Championship
Lions have a lightning start, but Colorado equalizes with a great goal; teams continue to suffer in the table
Bad for both
It didn’t help anyone. Sport and Internacional drew 1-1 on Sunday afternoon at Ilha do Retiro, in a game that was worth the 10th round of Série A. Leão started the game with a bang, made Anthoni work twice in five minutes, and then opened the scoring with Barletta. Colorado, which had its reserves on the field, recovered after falling behind and pressed, but only managed to tie the game in the second half. Gustavo Prado received the ball from Thiago Maia and, on the left, pulled it to the middle and shot into the corner of Caíque França’s goal. For those who were struggling to breathe in the standings, it was a bad result for both teams.
How does it look?
For Leão, nothing has changed: it remains the only team that has not yet won in Série A. Now, however, it has one point under its belt. It has three and remains at the bottom of the Brasileirão. Colorado moved up one position, from 15th to 14th, with 11 points won, but it remains in the Z-4 ”on its neck”, being two points behind Vitória, the first team to open the relegation zone.
Agenda
With no commitments in the middle of the week, the Rubro-negro team from Pernambuco returns to the field next Sunday, at 11 am, against Mirassol, in Maião. On the same day, Internacional receives Fluminense, in Beira-Rio, at 8:30 pm.
