Rio Ave and Gil Vicente draw in the Portuguese League in the last game of the season
Rio Ave and Gil Vicente said goodbye to the 2024/25 season with a 1-1 draw in the 34th and final round of the I Liga, in Petit’s last game as coach of the Vila-Condenses.
Playing at home, Rio Ave took the lead with a goal from Argentine Petrasso in the 38th minute, but the team from Barcelos equalized in the 42nd minute through Spaniard Bermejo.
Rio Ave ends the season with 38 points and is provisionally in 10th place, while Gil Vicente has 34 points in 14th place.
