In the first few minutes, the two teams traded blows with intense duels. Then, on a good ball from Bouanani, Laborde had the first chance of the game, but his attempt failed to hit Bizot’s post! A few minutes later, the Gym did indeed find the back of the net with a duel won by Guessand (1-0, 16th). In the process, Laborde even doubled the lead with a close-range shot (2-0, 19th)!

Completely out of it, Brest seemed incapable of resisting and Locko made a mistake by conceding a penalty in front of Clauss. Facing Bizot, Bouanani converted his attempt on the right (3-0, 27th). Until the break, the Aiglons, with great collective solidarity, continued to control the debate against a less than incisive Brest side.

After halftime, Nice, feeling confident, retained control of the ball. On a counterattack, Bouanani came close to scoring, but Bizot won the duel! To avoid a penalty without the slightest reaction, Brest tried a few offensive moves and stood out above all for their technical inaccuracy.

And finally, it was the Gym who continued to delight with a superb volley from Laborde on a cross from Bard (4-0, 75th). To celebrate qualification for the Champions League, the Gym rewarded its fans with another goal from Moffi, who scored in the empty net after dribbling past Bizot (5-0, 82nd). Thanks to a final goal from Abdi (6-0, 90+3rd) and this magnificent display, Nice could celebrate this place in the Champions League!
