Manchester City draws with Southampton in the Premier League

STUMBLE

Manchester City visited Southampton and failed to break the deadlock this Saturday in the 36th round of the Premier League. The game was not very exciting at St. Mary’s Stadium, especially in the first half. After Erling Haaland returned from injury, Pep Guardiola’s team showed little creativity and failed to score.

POINTS THAT MAY BE MISSING

Manchester City are unable to beat Southampton, bottom of the table with just 12 points in the competition, with one of the worst campaigns in Premier League history. The draw leaves the Citizens with 65 points in third place, but they could still be overtaken by Newcastle and Chelsea, both with 63, who still have to play in the round. The fight for a place in the Champions League also has Nottingham Forest (61) and Aston Villa (60) hot on their heels. The top five will qualify for the Champions League.
