Chelsea beat Djurgarden again and are in the Conference League final
Enzo Maresca rests 10 starters, but the English are superior and resolve the stalemate in the first half

Summary
With their sights set on a place in the Champions League and also benefiting from a 4-1 win in the first leg, Chelsea took to the pitch at Stamford Bridge with a team made up almost 100% of reserves to face Djugarden in the Conference League semi-final. Despite the massive rest adopted by Enzo Maresca, nothing changed, the English team were better throughout, winning 1-0 and sealing their place in the final of the competition.
Even with only Cucurella in the starting line-up, Chelsea played a formal first half and opened the scoring with a beautiful goal from Dewsbury-Hall after a pass from Tyrique George. The Blues dominated possession (69%) and shots on goal (11 to 4). In the second half, the pair played another good one-two, but Hall missed an opportunity from the penalty spot. Nothing that was missed. Chelsea now have three games to play in the English Championship before playing the Conference League final on May 28 in Poland.
On Sunday, at 8 am (Brasília time), Chelsea will face Newcastle, their direct rival in the fight for Champions League spots, away from home. The teams have 63 points and the same goal difference (21), but the Blues’ rival has the upper hand in terms of goals for: 66 to 62.
