Lopetegui could return to action in Spanish football
Former FC Porto player, free since leaving West Ham, linked to Real Sociedad. Michel is the dream of the Basques, but he has a contract with Girona
Real Sociedad announced this Thursday that Imanol Alguacil will leave at the end of the season, by his own decision. Meanwhile, the Spanish press has already started to point to coaches in the Basques’ bench, one of whom is well-known in Portuguese football and, in particular, FC Porto .
Marca reports that Julen Lopetegui, who has been without a club since leaving West Ham this season, is one of the names on the table. The same source adds that the former FC Porto coach has been on Real Sociedad ‘s list for some time, but their paths have never crossed.
