KING OF THE CLASSIC

AC Milan defeated Inter Milan 3-0 on Wednesday in the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final at the San Siro. With two goals from Jovic and one from Reijnders, Sérgio Conceição’s team won 4-1 on aggregate and qualified for the final of the competition, while ending the possibility of a treble for their rivals. Milan will go in search of a sixth Coppa Italia trophy against the winner of Bologna vs. Empoli.

WAITING FOR THE OPPONENT

The Coppa Italia final is scheduled for May 14, with the time yet to be determined. The match will be between Inter Milan and Bologna or Empoli, who will face each other this Thursday at 4 pm (Brasília time). The advantage lies with Vincenzo Italiano’s club, who won 3-0 away from home on April 1.

MONTH OF UP AND DOWN

Inter Milan experienced mixed emotions in April. After being eliminated from the Coppa Italia, the team had three draws, two wins and two losses in the month, in addition to seeing Napoli draw level in the Italian Championship and threaten to win the trophy. To ease the situation, the club had an important qualification last week, beating Bayern Munich and securing a place in the Champions League semi-finals.
