Van Persie’s son renews with Feyenoord
Shaqueel van Persie will be linked to the Dutch club until 2028
Shaqueel van Persie, son of Robin van Persie, a forward who made waves at Arsenal and Manchester United , has renewed his contract with Feyenoord , the club where he trained, just like his father.
“I feel very proud to be able to wear the Feyenoord jersey for the coming seasons. I have a lot of confidence in the club and I work hard every day in the squad to achieve my goals,” said Van Persie, a forward for the Rotterdam club’s youth academy. In 1999, Robin van Persie joined Feyenoord , where he stayed until 2004, before moving to England. At the end of his career, he spent two years ‘at home’, when his son Shaqueel joined the academy. Now, Robin and Shaqueel appear in the photo of the youngest’s renewal.
