Market: Mourinho on his way to Everton? He is the favourite at bookmakers
Portuguese coach is being considered to succeed Sean Dyche
Sean Dyche was sacked as Everton manager on Thursday , who sit 16th in the Premier League , just one point above the relegation zone.
And for the bookmakers, there is a Portuguese coach in pole position to take over the role: José Mourinho.
However, it is unlikely that the 61-year-old coach will return to England . Firstly because he is at Fenerbahçe fighting for the Turkish title and then because in October, in an interview with Sky Sports, he assured that he would not return to the Premier League for a club fighting to stay up.
Now, after the Englishman’s dismissal, Sky guaranteed that the Portuguese was not even contacted by Everton , especially because the club is owned by the Friedkin Group, the same one that fired Mourinho from Roma about a year ago,
