Barcelona suffers draw from Betis in LaLiga
Hansi Flick’s team stumbles again, and Seville’s team recovers with a penalty suffered by Vitor Roque
ALL THE SAME!
Betis and Barcelona drew 2-2 this Saturday in a match for the 16th round of the Spanish Championship. Barça opened the scoring in the 39th minute with Lewandowski. In the 23rd minute of the second half, Vitor Roque suffered a penalty converted by Lo Celso, leaving the score tied. Barcelona took the lead again with Ferrán Torres in the 37th minute of the second half. But in the 48th minute, Diao deflected a cross from the right to seal the score.
THE REUNION
After leaving Barcelona on loan at the start of the season, Vitor Roque reunited with his former team this Saturday. The 19-year-old Brazilian was a starter for Betis in the draw with Barça and participated in the first goal for his team, winning a penalty. Despite his good movement, the Tigrinho did not have any great chances to finish in the match. He left the field in the 31st minute of the second half, to be replaced by Diao, who scored the decisive goal. The youngster now has 19 games and five goals for Betis.
ANOTHER STUMBLE FOR THE LEADER
The draw with Betis means Barcelona have gone four games without a win in their last five La Liga matches. Despite this, Barça remain top of the table with 38 points. However, they currently have two games in hand over Real, who have 33 points and face Girona later this Saturday. Betis are in 10th place with 21 points.
