Manchester United secured their first win of the 2024/2025 Europa League on Thursday , beating PAOK of Greece 2-0 at home, with a double from Diallo, and interim coach Ruud van Nistelrooy was pleased, saying he will wait for the last game, against Leicester . Asked once again, he said he has not yet spoken to Rúben Amorim.

The Portuguese coach will take charge of his last game for Sporting on Sunday in Braga, and van Nistelrooy will lead United against Leicester, although his role as assistant is unclear.

“I think Ruben said he is focused on SC Braga and I am on Leicester. I think it is a good idea for now and it shows that we are focused on the day-to-day work and getting the most out of the team. So let him focus on SC Braga , I will focus on Leicester and then we will see,” he commented.
