Arsenal considering signing Luis Campos

PSG’s sports consultant only has a contract until the end of this season

Arsenal have already started the search for a sporting director, following the departure of Edu Gaspar from the club at the beginning of November. And although they are not yet close to hiring the Brazilian’s replacement, some names are already being considered and one of them is a Portuguese.

This is Luís Campos, PSG ‘s sports consultant who, in recent years, has helped the French club to sign talents such as João Neves , Vitinha and Bradley Barcola . And it is this appetite for signing young players that makes the Portuguese a candidate to take into account, according to Sky Sports .

Campos’ contract with PSG ends at the end of this season and, with Arsenal not in a rush to hire a sporting director, this is another point in favour of a possible move for the Portuguese to the North London club.

Sky Sports also explains that Arsenal intend to take their time to define the profile of the ideal sporting director, but that they also have other names in consideration, such as Simon Rufles, sporting director of Bayer Leverkusen , and Roberto Olab, director of football at Real Sociedad who will leave the club at the end of this season.
