Hansi Flick confirms: Frenkie de Jong is back

Hansi Flick has confirmed: Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong is finally fit to return to action after five months. The Dutch player has been called up and could be part of the Blaugrana squad that faces Young Boys on Tuesday in the second round of the Champions League .
A ‘reinforcement’ arrives for Flick, who nevertheless announces that De Jong will not be a starter. «It’s very good news. Having Frenkie back is very important, we are happy when players return from injury. It will be good for him to help the younger players. If there is an opportunity, he can play, I don’t know if for 45, 20 or 10 minutes», said the Catalans’ coach.
