FIFA reveals logo and song for the new Club World Cup
2025 edition packed with ‘Freed from Desire’
FIFA revealed this Wednesday the logo and music for the new Club World Cup , which will be played in 2025 in the United States.
The next edition of the competition, which has a new format with 32 clubs, will be held to the sound of Freed From Desire , by the Italian singer Gala, which has been used for several chants in stadiums, such as the song by Sporting fans dedicated to Paulinho.
“What a special moment: today we launch the brand new Club World Cup, the beginning of a new era in club football. Thirty-two of the best clubs from all corners of the world will compete in the United States in June and July 2025. They are the heart of the tournament. And we can’t wait. Thirty-two of the best clubs in the world will meet on the global stage and only one will be crowned world champion,” said the organization’s president, Gianni Infantino.
