“Man. United spent €750M and are even worse off”
Ralf Rangnick criticizes the management of the ‘red devils’

Current Austria manager Ralf Rangnick was Manchester United ‘s manager until the end of the 2021/22 season, taking over after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked. At the time, the Austrian said the club “needed open-heart surgery” to get back on the path to success and has now been highly critical of the management in recent years.
Not even the 3-0 triumph in Bilbao, practically guaranteeing a place in the UEFA Europa League final, was enough for Rangnick, in an interview with Canal+ in Austria, to leave great praise for the Red Devils
“ Manchester United only needed to change a few small things and since then they have spent €750m on players and are much, much worse off than they were then. It’s true that they could win the Europa League and save the season by securing the Champions League , but everything else… It’s been a real disappointment. It will be interesting to see if anything happens. In the middle of the season, they hired a coach who plays with a three-man defense and the squad was built to play with four,” he commented.
