Real Madrid attacker Brahim Díaz has emerged as a top target for a host of Premier League clubs following his stellar performances at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON). Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur, and Newcastle United are all reportedly monitoring the Moroccan international’s situation at the Santiago Bernabéu.

According to TEAMtalk, Díaz’s representatives have begun exploring options across Europe. Despite his international success where he scored five goals in seven games during AFCON the 26-year-old has struggled to break into Alvaro Arbeloa’s starting lineup, clocking just 22 minutes across his last two appearances for Los Blancos.

While a January move is considered “nearly impossible” by club sources, the groundwork is being laid for a massive summer transfer. Díaz’s camp is reportedly keen on a move to England, where his technical flair and versatility would be highly valued.

  • Tottenham: View Díaz as a creative spark to bolster their attacking rotation.
  • Aston Villa: Unai Emery is a long-term admirer of the player’s ability to operate between the lines.
  • Newcastle: See the Moroccan as a marquee signing to elevate their offensive output.

Market Value and Contract Status

Brahim Díaz is currently under contract with Real Madrid until June 2027. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €40 million (approx. £34m ), though Real Madrid is expected to demand a higher fee given his recent international form.

So far this season, Díaz has featured in 20 matches but has only started four. For a player entering his prime, the role of an “impact sub” is no longer enough, making a Premier League move the most logical step for his career progression.
