The French forward could be set for a sensational return to Turin as Spurs look to offload the striker before the January deadline.

Juventus have moved into pole position to re-sign Randal Kolo Muani. After a frustrating stint in the Premier League with Tottenham Hotspur, the 27-year-old Frenchman is reportedly surplus to requirements at the North London club, with Thomas Frank’s board ready to facilitate a move back to Serie A.

A Return to Familiar Ground Kolo Muani’s best form in recent years came during a highly successful loan spell at Juventus. His ability to lead the line and his clinical finishing made him a fan favorite at the Allianz Stadium. Despite Juventus’ attempts to secure him permanently last summer, the striker eventually landed at Spurs in a high-profile move that has failed to meet expectations.

Now, according to Teamtalk, the “Juve-Muani” connection is stronger than ever. The Italian giants are desperate for a reliable center-forward to bolster their Scudetto charge, and they view the Frenchman as the perfect tactical fit.

The “Triangular” Negotiation The deal remains slightly complex due to the player’s contractual ties:

  • Tottenham’s Stance: Ready to cut their losses and free up space for a more physical “Target Man” in Frank’s system.
  • The PSG Factor: While currently at Spurs, the structure of his previous deals involves Paris Saint-Germain, who are reportedly not standing in the way of a permanent transfer to Italy.
  • Juventus’ Plan: Looking for an initial loan with an obligatory purchase clause, estimated at around €40 million.

Why the Spurs Move Failed Kolo Muani struggled to adapt to the high-intensity, physical demands of Thomas Frank’s Premier League setup. After a series of underwhelming performances and a lack of goals, both the player and the club have agreed that a change of scenery specifically a return to a league where he has already succeeded is the best path forward.
