MANCHESTER – An era is coming to an end at Old Trafford. Manchester United and Casemiro have officially confirmed that the Brazilian midfielder will depart the club at the end of his contract in June. After four trophy-laden seasons, the 33-year-old “destroyer” will become a free agent this summer.

In an emotional post on social media, Casemiro shared his gratitude with the fans: “Knowing when stages come to an end… I will give everything for this badge and for our objective for the next four months. Forever a Red Devil.”

A Legacy of Silverware

Since his high-profile arrival from Real Madrid in 2022, Casemiro has been a transformative figure in the United dressing room. The club released an official statement honoring his contribution:

“Casemiro quickly became a fan favorite due to his combative nature and ability to score goals in crucial matches.”

The Brazilian captain played a pivotal role in ending United’s trophy drought, delivering a “colossal performance” in the 2023 Carabao Cup Final against Newcastle and lifting the FA Cup in 2024. With 146 appearances and 21 goals to date, his impact on the pitch was undeniable.

For now, Manchester United fans will have the opportunity to bid a final farewell to the legendary midfielder during the last home game of the season at Old Trafford.
