Ewa Pajor is one of the most recognizable names in women’s football and a key figure at FC Barcelona Femení, yet the Polish striker insists that success has not changed her mindset. In a candid interview, Pajor shared personal details about her life, career, and daily routine in Catalonia, delivering a humble message despite her impressive form.
At 29 years old, Pajor has firmly established herself as Barcelona’s main attacking reference. During the 2025/26 season, she has already scored 15 goals in 18 appearances, underlining her importance both for the Spanish giants and the Polish national team. Her influence was also decisive in leading Poland to their first-ever qualification for the Women’s European Championship in 2025, a historic milestone for the country.
Ewa Pajor Reflects on Her Roots and Future
Speaking about her upbringing, Pajor recalled her childhood in Pęgów, a small village near Uniejów in Poland. Growing up as the youngest in a large family, she explained how helping her parents on their farm shaped her character and work ethic from an early age.
“In Pęgów, a village near Uniejów, my parents have a farm. As a child, I helped with the crops and the animals, along with my siblings. I have three sisters and one brother; I am the youngest,” Pajor said.
The Barcelona striker believes those early experiences continue to influence her professional approach and humility, even as she performs at the highest level of the sport.
“I Don’t Feel on Top of the World,” Says Pajor
Despite playing for what many consider the best women’s football club in the world, Pajor admitted she does not feel overwhelmed by her achievements. Instead, she remains focused on personal growth, consistency, and maintaining her love for the game.
“I play for the best club in the world, but I don’t feel like I’m on top of the world. The most important thing for me is to work hard every day, which makes me a better player and a better person. I haven’t lost the joy of playing, which is easy to lose when you work so hard; that’s important to me,” she explained.
Her words underline a mindset centered on discipline and passion rather than fame or accolades.
Barcelona Prepare for Next Liga F Match
Ewa Pajor is expected to be available for Barcelona’s next Liga F fixture, as the Catalan side returns to action on Saturday (10). Barcelona will face Madrid CFF at home, with kickoff scheduled for 6:00 pm (UK time).
