Fans of the Brazilian national team now know the four possible kickoff times for their squad in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Matches will be scheduled at 1 PM, 4 PM, 7 PM, and 10 PM Brasília time, according to information shared by CNF Zone on X (formerly Twitter).

Time Differences Across Host Countries

The 2026 World Cup will be held across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, meaning time conversions will be necessary for Brazilian fans. Brasília is:

  • 1 hour behind the U.S. and Canada
  • 2 hours behind Mexico

The opening match and final are both set for 4 PM Brasília time. The first game will take place at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, while the final will be at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, USA, the same venue that hosted the FIFA Club World Cup final.

Tournament Dates

  • Opening match: June 11, 2026
  • Final: July 19, 2026

South American Representation

With the expansion of the World Cup from 32 to 48 teams, CONMEBOL will send six direct qualifiers from South America. Already confirmed: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Ecuador.
