Arsenal leave Kiwior out of Manchester United game and could loan him to Porto

Arsenal opened their 2025/26 Premier League campaign with a 1–0 victory over Manchester United at Old Trafford, but defender Jakub Kiwior was a notable absentee from the squad a decision closely tied to ongoing transfer negotiations.

Porto Push for Kiwior Loan With Obligation to Buy
According to Polish journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk, FC Porto have submitted a loan offer worth €7 million to secure Kiwior’s services, with a mandatory €20 million purchase clause at the end of the deal.
The 25-year-old’s exclusion from the Arsenal squad against Manchester United is reportedly linked to these advanced talks, as the Gunners prepare to sanction his departure.
Kiwior’s Arsenal Journey
Kiwior joined Arsenal from Spezia in 2023 after impressing in Serie A. Since then, he has made 68 appearances, scoring three goals and providing three assists. His current contract runs until July 2028, but his limited playing time in key fixtures suggests a move may be imminent.
