Manchester United could increase Benjamin Sesko’s salary if they qualify for the Champions League

Manchester United have completed the signing of Benjamin Šeško from RB Leipzig, with the Slovenian striker set to earn an initial salary of around €188,000 per week  approximately €9.8 million per season on a contract running until 2030.

According to journalist Rok Viškovič, the 22-year-old’s wage will increase by 25% to €235,000 per week (around €12.25 million annually) if the Red Devils qualify for the Champions League.

Šeško, who was also targeted by other European clubs, made it clear he only wanted to join United, turning down all other offers. Last season at RB Leipzig, he earned €108,000 per week and €5.6 million annually, according to Capology.

The forward enjoyed an outstanding 2024/25 campaign, scoring 21 goals and providing six assists in 45 appearances matching his best-ever tally achieved at Liefering in 2020/21. His career also includes a successful stint at Red Bull Salzburg before moving to Germany.
