Fulham moves for Kevin and Chukwueze while Andreas Pereira heads to Palmeiras

Fulham is preparing a busy end to the transfer window. According to Fabrizio Romano, the English club is close to finalizing two attacking reinforcements: Kevin, formerly of Palmeiras and currently at Shakhtar Donetsk, and Samuel Chukwueze, from AC Milan.

Negotiations in the final stretch

The deals are at an advanced stage. Fulham is expected to invest €40 million (R$252 million) to sign Kevin and €25 million (R$157 million) for Chukwueze. Both operate on the wings, with the Brazilian favoring the left and the Nigerian playing on the right.

Departure of Andreas Pereira

While reinforcements arrive, Fulham has also agreed to let Andreas Pereira return to Brazil. The midfielder is joining Palmeiras for €10 million (R$63 million), less than half of the amount Verdão had offered back in January. Pereira initially resisted a move, hoping to secure more minutes in the Premier League, but gradually lost space in Marco Silva’s plans.

Who is Kevin?

Kevin, 22, came through Palmeiras’ youth academy and turned professional in 2021. He was sold to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2024 for €12 million and has since become a standout. Last season he played 35 matches, scoring nine goals and delivering four assists. This season, he has already made a flying start with four goals and two assists in just four games.

Chukwueze’s trajectory

Samu Chukwueze, 26, joined AC Milan in 2023 after developing at Villarreal. A regular for Nigeria’s national team, he contributed five goals and three assists in 36 appearances last season for the Rossoneri.

With these moves, Fulham signals clear ambition for the 2025/26 Premier League season, while Palmeiras fans celebrate the homecoming of Andreas Pereira.
