According to reports, the Saudi Pro League runners-up offered to double the Guinean forward’s current salary, a financial package that would have tempted many players. However, Guirassy swiftly declined, reaffirming his commitment to Dortmund’s sporting project.

Since joining from VfB Stuttgart for €18 million last summer, Guirassy has been a revelation, directly contributing to 47 goals in 50 matches.
