PSG ready to sell Vitinha to Real Madrid for €130 million

Portuguese midfielder among the most sought-after in world football
Real Madrid has identified Paris Saint-Germain’s Vitinha as a prime target in their search for a new midfield leader. Considered one of the best in his position, the 25-year-old Portuguese star could be available for around €130 million, according to Foot1.
The Parisian club has shown no willingness to enter negotiations, but insiders claim they would consider selling if Real Madrid meets the hefty price tag. If completed, the transfer would rank among the most expensive in football history. However, the Spanish giants are unlikely to spend that sum in the current transfer window.
Replacing Kroos and Modric tops Madrid’s priority list
The need for a top-class midfielder has grown since the retirement of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric’s move to Milan earlier this summer. Manager Xabi Alonso has explored other options, including Manchester City’s Rodri and Chelsea’s Enzo Fernández, though both deals appear improbable for now.
Vitinha’s career and form
Vitinha joined PSG from Porto in 2022 and has become a key figure in the French champions’ midfield. In the 2024/25 season, he made 59 appearances, scoring eight goals and registering five assists. His dynamic play, vision, and ball control have made him one of Europe’s most admired midfielders.
Before his PSG stint, the midfielder played for Porto and had a brief spell in the Premier League with Wolverhampton Wanderers, making 22 appearances and contributing to two goals.
Rodrygo linked to Paris
While Madrid eyes Vitinha, PSG has reportedly reignited interest in Brazilian forward Rodrygo, who has seen reduced playing time in Spain. With Bradley Barcola potentially leaving this summer, manager Luis Enrique sees Rodrygo as a strong option to strengthen the attack.
