Juventus is in talks with Nottingham Forest, who are looking to make an offer for Douglas Luiz

Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz could be on the move again, with Nottingham Forest initiating talks over a potential transfer. The Brazilian, who joined the Italian side last season, failed to report for preseason training, prompting Juventus to consider him available for sale, sources confirmed.
Forest Expresses Interest After Positive Talks
According to TEAMtalk journalist Rudy Galetti, Nottingham Forest has already held positive discussions with Juventus officials regarding Luiz. The Premier League club is now evaluating a formal offer, with the player reportedly keen on returning to England.
Forest had previously expressed interest in Luiz just months after his arrival in Turin, but negotiations did not progress at the time.
Limited Role at Juventus
Luiz, 26, signed with Juventus until June 2029, but struggled to cement a starting position. In the 2024/25 season, he featured in 27 matches, starting just six times across all competitions, including Serie A, Champions League, Supercoppa, and the Club World Cup.
Valuation and Premier League Past
Juventus is expected to entertain offers close to the midfielder’s current market valuation of €30 million, according to Transfermarkt.
Luiz’s standout performances came during his five-year stint at Aston Villa (2019–2024), where he enjoyed a career-best 2023/24 season with 10 goals and 10 assists in 53 appearances.
