Tottenham target Kolo Muani, but striker prioritizes staying at Juventus

Spurs eye French forward as Kane successor, but player awaits Juventus decision amid uncertain PSG future
Tottenham Hotspur have expressed interest in signing Randal Kolo Muani as part of their continued search for a long-term striker. However, the French international is focused on remaining at Juventus, where he spent last season on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
According to journalist Santi Aouna, the North London club made an approach to PSG regarding the 25-year-old forward, but the response was far from encouraging. While Kolo Muani is not part of PSG’s immediate plans, the player himself has made it clear he would prefer to continue in Turin.
Spurs Struggling to Fill Kane Void
Since the departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich, Tottenham has yet to secure a consistent replacement. The club’s recruitment team sees Kolo Muani as a strong fit for Ange Postecoglou’s system, valuing his pace, work rate, and link-up play.
Despite the interest, negotiations remain stalled, particularly because Kolo Muani is holding out hope that Juventus will act on their interest and re-sign him either on another loan or in a permanent deal.
Kolo Muani Out of PSG’s 2025 Plans
PSG have reportedly informed the player that he is not part of the club’s tactical setup for the 2025 campaign. While they are open to offers during the current transfer window, they are unwilling to enter a cut-price deal, making any potential move complex.
The French club is said to be waiting for formal offers and is in no rush to finalize a decision, especially if Juventus does not move forward soon.
Tottenham Monitoring Situation Despite David Arrival
Tottenham’s pursuit of Kolo Muani has slowed down following the arrival of Jonathan David, who joined the club earlier this window and is expected to play a major role in the attack.
Even so, Spurs have reportedly made contact with Juventus to gauge their intentions. Should the Italian club decline to retain Kolo Muani, Tottenham could re-enter the race with a more aggressive offer.
