Juventus ease through but come under pressure

The victory left the Old Lady with six points and the leadership of the group assured. Already guaranteed in the round of 16, the team will finally face Manchester City in the last round in a direct confrontation that is worth the first place in the group.

Despite the large score, Juventus’ victory was not exactly as easy as the score suggests. Wydad Casablanca adopted an attacking stance and managed 15 shots throughout the game, six of which required great saves from goalkeeper Di Gregorio. The Bianconeri defense, despite being well positioned for most of the game, had trouble containing the Moroccan team’s fast attacks.
