Coleman Shelton is an American professional football offensive lineman for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). Born on July 28, 1995, in Pasadena, California, Shelton played college football at the University of Washington before beginning his professional career in 2018.
Beyond his football achievements, Shelton has spoken publicly about his family and upbringing in Southern California. His father originally comes from Tennessee, while his mother is from Virginia. He also has a brother named Trey Shelton, whom he identified during an interview with the Los Angeles Rams.
Shelton previously confirmed that he was engaged, although reliable public information about his current marital status and possible children remains limited. Here is what is publicly known about Coleman Shelton’s girlfriend, children, parents and siblings.
Coleman Shelton’s Girlfriend: Is He Dating Anyone?
Coleman Shelton previously confirmed that he was engaged to his longtime romantic partner.
During an interview published by the Los Angeles Rams on August 13, 2021, Shelton referred to his fiancée while discussing how he spent his offseason away from football.
He explained that he regularly returned to Seattle, Washington, where he had previously attended college, because his fiancée preferred living there during the offseason.
According to Shelton, his partner was still working in Seattle at the time.
During the NFL season, she would travel to Los Angeles and continue her professional responsibilities remotely.
The arrangement allowed the couple to spend time together despite the demands of Shelton’s football schedule.
His comments provided direct confirmation that he was involved in a serious relationship and had become engaged by August 2021.
However, the Rams interview did not publicly identify his fiancée by name.
Reliable sports reporting has also provided little additional information about their relationship in subsequent years.
As of now, the most clearly documented information about Shelton’s romantic life is his previously announced engagement.
There is insufficient independently verified evidence to establish whether he and his fiancée subsequently married or whether their relationship status changed.
Who Is Coleman Shelton’s Fiancée?
Coleman Shelton’s fiancée was mentioned in his August 2021 interview with Rams reporter Sarina Morales.
Although Shelton confirmed their engagement, he did not disclose her name or provide detailed information about her personal background.
He explained that she worked in Seattle and could perform her job remotely when spending time with him in Los Angeles.
The couple also shared several interests outside football.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Shelton and his fiancée spent time completing jigsaw puzzles together.
He recalled that they completed approximately ten puzzles, many containing around 1,000 pieces.
These comments offered a rare glimpse into the offensive lineman’s life outside professional football.
However, her educational background, occupation and family details have not been reliably established through authoritative public reporting.
Therefore, it would be inaccurate to assign her a name or personal biography without additional confirmation.
Is Coleman Shelton Married?
As of now, Coleman Shelton’s marital status has not been independently confirmed through reliable public sources.
Although he referred to having a fiancée in August 2021, that statement does not establish that a wedding subsequently occurred.
His official Los Angeles Rams and University of Washington biographies do not identify a wife or provide a wedding date.
Similarly, the Rams’ coverage of his return to Los Angeles in March 2025 focused on his football career and family connections without confirming his marital status.
Consequently, Shelton should not be described as married without reliable evidence establishing that he and his partner completed their wedding.
Coleman Shelton’s Children: Does He Have Any Kids?
As of now, there is no verified public information confirming that Coleman Shelton has children.
The Los Angeles Rams center has not made a reliably documented public announcement identifying any sons or daughters.
His official player biographies and published interviews also do not provide information establishing that he is a father.
Although Shelton has discussed his fiancée and other family members, those comments do not establish whether he has children of his own.
Therefore, Coleman Shelton has no publicly confirmed children.
This does not necessarily mean that he does not have children. It means that reliable public sources have not established his parental status.
Coleman Shelton’s Parents: Who Are His Father and Mother?
Coleman Shelton was raised in Pasadena, California, by parents who originally came from different parts of the United States.
During his August 2021 interview with the Los Angeles Rams, Shelton explained that his father was from Tennessee and his mother was from Virginia.
His parents eventually settled in Southern California, where Coleman grew up and developed his interest in football.
Although their geographic backgrounds are confirmed by Shelton’s own comments, their full names and professional occupations have not been reliably established in the official biographies and interviews reviewed.
Coleman Shelton’s Father
Coleman Shelton’s father is originally from Tennessee, according to the NFL player’s interview with the Los Angeles Rams.
He later moved to California, where Coleman was raised.
Shelton discussed his father’s background while explaining why some people were surprised to learn that he was from the Los Angeles area.
Because offensive linemen are often associated with traditional football regions elsewhere in the country, he occasionally encountered assumptions that he had grown up outside California.
However, Shelton emphasized that Southern California had always been his home.
His father’s connection to Tennessee contributed to the family’s geographic background, while Coleman developed his identity as a Southern California athlete.
Despite discussing where his father came from, Shelton has not provided extensive publicly documented information about his father’s personal life.
Reliable reporting does not establish his father’s full name, date of birth, educational background or professional occupation.
There is also insufficient evidence to confirm whether his father played organized college or professional football.
Consequently, further biographical claims about him would be speculative.
Coleman Shelton’s Mother
Coleman Shelton’s mother is originally from Virginia, according to his August 2021 interview with the Los Angeles Rams.
She later settled in California, where Coleman spent his childhood and attended school.
Although Shelton has publicly acknowledged his family background, his mother has generally remained outside national sports media coverage.
His official University of Washington and Los Angeles Rams biographies do not provide a detailed account of her life.
Reliable public information about her full name, education, professional career and other private circumstances remains limited.
Nevertheless, Shelton’s comments establish that his family’s roots extend beyond California to the eastern United States.
His parents’ decision to settle in Southern California meant that he grew up near one of the country’s major professional sporting markets.
That environment became important to his personal journey, particularly when he eventually established himself as an NFL player with the Los Angeles Rams.
Coleman Shelton’s Siblings: Does He Have Brothers and Sisters?
Coleman Shelton has at least one publicly confirmed sibling, a brother named Trey Shelton.
He directly identified Trey during his August 2021 interview with the Los Angeles Rams.
However, the available official player biographies do not establish the complete number of Shelton’s siblings.
Trey Shelton: Coleman Shelton’s Brother
Trey Shelton is the brother of Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Coleman Shelton.
His name was publicly confirmed when Coleman discussed his childhood and California upbringing during an interview with team reporter Sarina Morales.
The conversation included a discussion about Southern California culture and the popular television comedy sketch “The Californians.”
While reflecting on that subject, Shelton mentioned that his brother’s name was Trey.
The statement established their sibling relationship through a direct interview rather than an unverified online biography.
However, Trey has maintained a relatively private public profile.
Reliable reporting does not provide detailed information about his education, age, professional occupation or personal relationships.
It is also unclear whether Trey pursued competitive football or another sport during his school years.
Although his brother Coleman became a professional NFL player, Trey has not received comparable attention from national sports media.
Consequently, the available information establishes his identity as Coleman’s brother without supporting additional biographical claims.
Does Coleman Shelton Have Other Brothers?
Trey Shelton is the only brother whose name has been directly confirmed in the reliable football interviews reviewed.
Neither the Los Angeles Rams nor the University of Washington has published a comprehensive list of Coleman’s siblings in their official player biographies.
As a result, the existence and identities of any additional brothers remain unconfirmed.
Does Coleman Shelton Have a Sister?
There is no independently verified public information identifying a sister of Coleman Shelton.
His official football biographies focus on his athletic development and professional achievements rather than providing a complete family history.
Although he has publicly identified his brother Trey, Shelton has not provided a verified list of sisters in the interviews reviewed.
Therefore, it would be inaccurate to claim definitively that he has no sisters or to identify a particular person without reliable evidence.

The move was particularly meaningful because it brought him back to the metropolitan area where he had grown up.

He was part of the Rams team that won Super Bowl LVI in February 2022, defeating the Cincinnati Bengals.
During the 2022 season, Shelton established himself as a regular starter, appearing in 13 games and starting all of them.
