Jordan Adebayo-Smith’s family background connects the United States, Nigeria and England. Born on January 11, 2001, in Colton, California, the Minnesota United forward grew up and developed as a footballer in East London before eventually returning to the United States to continue his professional career. His Nigerian heritage comes through his parents, while his American birthplace and English upbringing have given him an unusually international background.
Reliable football reporting confirms that Jordan Adebayo-Smith was born to Nigerian parents, but their names have not been publicly established by strong sources. Information about possible brothers or sisters is similarly limited. The forward has also kept his romantic life private, with no reliable public confirmation of a girlfriend, wife or children. As of now, the best-documented elements of Adebayo-Smith’s family story are his Nigerian ancestry, his birth in California and the years he spent growing up and learning football in England.
Who Are Jordan Adebayo-Smith’s Parents?
Jordan Adebayo-Smith’s parents are Nigerian. Nigerian football outlet All Nigeria Soccer specifically reported that the forward was born in California to Nigerian parents, explaining his eligibility to represent Nigeria internationally.
However, the names of his mother and father have not been reliably published by Minnesota United, Lincoln City, Tampa Bay Rowdies, New England Revolution or the other clubs that have profiled him during his career.
A photograph published when Adebayo-Smith signed a professional contract with Lincoln City showed him celebrating the milestone with adults around him, but the accompanying reporting did not clearly establish their identities. For that reason, it would be inappropriate to assign names or relationships based solely on the photograph.
What can be stated confidently is that Adebayo-Smith comes from a Nigerian family and spent an important part of his upbringing in England after being born in the United States.
Jordan Adebayo-Smith’s Father
Jordan Adebayo-Smith’s father has not been publicly identified by name in reliable football sources.
No established club biography provides details about his father’s occupation, sporting background or the role he played in Jordan’s early football development.
Because Adebayo-Smith was still a teenager when he entered Lincoln City’s academy system, family support would naturally have been important during his development, but there is not enough public evidence to describe his father’s individual contribution accurately.
Claims on unofficial biography pages that provide a name for his father should therefore be treated cautiously unless they are supported by a direct interview or an established source.
Jordan Adebayo-Smith’s Mother
Jordan Adebayo-Smith’s mother has also remained outside the public spotlight.
Reliable sources confirm that his parents are Nigerian but do not identify his mother by name or provide information about her profession or personal history.

Jordan Adebayo-Smith has Nigerian family heritage through his parents.
Although he was born in California, All Nigeria Soccer has specifically described him as the son of Nigerian parents. Minnesota United, New England Revolution and Tampa Bay Rowdies have also repeatedly noted his eligibility to represent Nigeria alongside the United States and England.
His full registered name is Adebowale Aderinto Jordan Adebayo-Smith, according to football registration records and established statistical databases.

Is Jordan Adebayo-Smith Nigerian?
Jordan Adebayo-Smith is of Nigerian descent and is eligible to represent Nigeria internationally.
He was not born in Nigeria. His birthplace is Colton, California, in the United States, but his Nigerian parents provide his connection to the West African country.
Football databases also list him with Nigerian citizenship in addition to his American background.
As of now, he has not established a senior international career with the United States, Nigeria or England.

There is currently no reliable public information identifying brothers or sisters of Jordan Adebayo-Smith.
His official Minnesota United biography does not mention siblings, and profiles from Lincoln City, Tampa Bay Rowdies, New York Red Bulls II, New England Revolution II and Detroit City similarly provide no confirmed sibling names.
This does not establish that Adebayo-Smith is an only child. It simply means his siblings, if he has any, have not been documented through strong public sources.
Because possible siblings would be private individuals, people sharing the Adebayo or Smith surnames should not automatically be identified as relatives without confirmation.
Who Is Jordan Adebayo-Smith’s Girlfriend?
Jordan Adebayo-Smith has not publicly confirmed a girlfriend through an official club channel or reliable sports publication.
His public social-media and football profiles have largely focused on training, matches and his professional career rather than dating relationships.

As a result, his current relationship status should be treated as private rather than relying on speculation from social-media interactions.
Is Jordan Adebayo-Smith Married?
There is no reliable public confirmation that Jordan Adebayo-Smith is married or has a wife.
His official Minnesota United profile does not mention a spouse, and none of the major club announcements covering his career in England or the United States reports a marriage.
Unless Adebayo-Smith personally announces one or a trustworthy source documents it, there is no basis for publicly identifying anyone as his wife.
Does Jordan Adebayo-Smith Have Children?
There is currently no reliable public information confirming that Jordan Adebayo-Smith has children.
