Arsenal are reportedly prepared to listen to offers for Gabriel Martinelli, with Saudi Pro League giants Al-Nassr emerging as a serious contender for the Brazilian’s signature.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the Gunners are open to the possibility of selling the 24-year-old forward in the upcoming windows. While Al-Nassr home to Cristiano Ronaldo has the financial might to secure the deal, Martinelli’s personal preference remains the biggest hurdle. In previous transfer windows, the player has consistently rejected moves to the Middle East, opting to stay in Europe’s elite competitions.

Barcelona Monitoring the Situation

Al-Nassr isn’t the only club watching from the sidelines. Barcelona have maintained a long-standing interest in Martinelli and could view this summer as the perfect opportunity to bring the winger to Catalonia. With his contract set to expire in June 2027 and no renewal talks currently on the table, a move to La Liga might be the “middle ground” Martinelli is looking for if he truly leaves North London.

Represented by New Plans

Speculation about his exit has intensified following reports from IndyKaila, suggesting that Martinelli’s representatives are already “drawing up plans” for a future away from the Emirates Stadium. While his next destination hasn’t been officially revealed, it is clear that the Brazilian’s camp is preparing for a new chapter after a season where he has struggled to maintain a consistent spot in Mikel Arteta’s starting XI.

Market Value and Statistics

Despite a fluctuating season where he started 13 out of 27 matches, Martinelli remains a productive asset, netting 9 goals across all competitions. Currently valued at approximately €45 million (£38m), his age and Premier League pedigree make him an attractive investment for both the emerging Saudi project and established European powerhouses.
