Real Madrid and Manchester United were never close to signing Angelo Stiller, says Fabrizio Romano

Rumors linking Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller to Real Madrid and Manchester United have been denied by Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist clarified that no negotiations took place in the summer window, despite reports suggesting advanced talks.

No Talks With Madrid or United

According to Romano, Real Madrid never discussed personal terms with Stiller, and Manchester United did not make any late push for the player either. The speculation in international media “had no concrete basis,” he said.

The 23-year-old remained focused on Stuttgart, where he has established himself as a key starter in recent seasons.

Future Transfer Still Possible

While a move did not materialize this summer, Stiller has not closed the door on leaving Germany. Romano noted that the midfielder, a Bayern Munich academy graduate, is open to an international transfer in the future if the right opportunity arises.

For now, Stuttgart benefit from his decision to stay, with Stiller remaining central to the club’s long-term project.
