Tottenham prioritizes Savinho in transfers and prepares an offer of €80 million

Tottenham has made Brazilian forward Savinho its main target for the 2025/26 season and is preparing a new, higher bid to secure his signing. Despite a previous rejection from Manchester City, Spurs remain determined to finalize the deal before the close of the transfer window.

Spurs double down after initial rejection

The London club had already submitted a multimillion-euro proposal, which was turned down by City’s board. According to journalist Cahê Mota, Tottenham is now ready to raise the stakes with a bid worth €80 million — R$511 million at the current exchange rate.

Savinho’s arrival is considered crucial after Tottenham missed out on signing Eberechi Eze, who joined Arsenal. The club’s board redirected its transfer budget entirely towards the Brazilian winger, identified as the missing piece in Ange Postecoglou’s attacking system.

Manchester City holds the cards

Manchester City currently holds Savinho’s rights and has been reluctant to negotiate, valuing the player as an asset for the future. Still, Tottenham hopes the increased offer will be enough to change their stance.

If the €80 million proposal is not accepted, Spurs are prepared to make yet another attempt, signaling how far they are willing to go to complete the signing.

Tottenham’s transfer strategy

The aggressive pursuit of Savinho highlights Tottenham’s ambition to compete for major titles in Europe. The club sees him as a long-term investment and an immediate boost to its frontline, alongside players like Son Heung-min and James Maddison.

For the Spurs’ board, Savinho is not just one more option on the market he is the top priority of the window, and the club is prepared to push negotiations until the final days of the market.
