Real Madrid eye Mexican wonderkid Gilberto Mora as Haaland’s agent hints at possible move

Real Madrid could soon add another teenage sensation to their squad. According to El Chiringuito TV, the Spanish giants are monitoring Gilberto Mora, a 16-year-old striker from Club Tijuana who has already made headlines with five goals in nine appearances this season.

Haaland’s representative confirms Madrid interest

Rafaela Pimenta, the agent of Erling Haaland, also represents Mora and admitted that Los Blancos are among the clubs following the Mexican talent.

“He’s doing very well. I’m talking about him in every market. Real Madrid is linked, but I think it’s natural because he’s very young and strong. We’ll hear many ideas. Let’s see what happens,” Pimenta told El Chiringuito.

When asked directly about Madrid, she added: “I prefer him to play where he is happiest.”

Youngest Gold Cup champion in history

Mora made history this year by becoming the youngest player to win the Gold Cup with Mexico’s national team. His performances have placed him alongside names like Vinícius Júnior, Rodrygo, and Endrick all signed by Real Madrid as teenagers with the idea of developing them into world-class stars.

Madrid’s youth strategy pays off

The club’s investment in young talent has also yielded strong financial returns. According to AS, Real Madrid earned over €100 million in the past five years from the sales of youth academy full-backs such as Achraf Hakimi (€43M to Inter, later sold to PSG) and Sergio Reguilón (€30M to Tottenham).
