Transfer Window Still Active
The summer transfer window in England remains open until 3 p.m. (Brasília time) on September 1, giving clubs more than two weeks after the season starts to finalize reinforcements. Spending has already exceeded €1.3 billion (R$8.2 billion) among the league’s top six clubs Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham, Liverpool, and Manchester City and is expected to climb further as negotiations heat up.

The biggest signing of the window so far is Florian Wirtz, who joined Liverpool for €125 million (R$789 million), setting a new club transfer record.
