Mohamed Salah aims to break seven Premier League records this season

Mohamed Salah begins the new season with history in sight. The Liverpool star has already tied Andy Cole as the fourth top scorer in Premier League history with 187 goals, and now aims to break at least seven records that would cement his legacy among the all-time greats.
Salah’s historic goals
In Liverpool’s opener, Salah extended his record as the only player to score in 10 consecutive Premier League season debuts. But the Egyptian’s ambitions don’t stop there.
Among the milestones within reach this campaign:
- First player to win five Golden Boots in Premier League history.
- First African to reach 200 goals in the competition.
- First African with 100 assists in the league (he has 87).
- First player with 200 PL goals for Liverpool.
- Most Player of the Month awards (currently tied).
- Extending his tally of 214+ goals for a single club in PL.
- Breaking the record of most goal contributions in a season (currently 48).
Chasing Rooney and Kane in the all-time scorers list
Salah is now within striking distance of legendary names. With 27 more goals, he would leapfrog Wayne Rooney (208) and Harry Kane (213), climbing to second place in the Premier League’s all-time top scorers ranking.
Assists race: from Gerrard to Bergkamp
On the creative side, Salah already has 87 assists, enough for a place in the top 10 of Premier League history. If he maintains his usual consistency hitting double digits in six of his eight seasons he could surpass names such as James Milner (89), Steven Gerrard (92), David Silva (93) and Dennis Bergkamp (94).
Quest for immortality
For Liverpool fans, Salah’s numbers are already legendary. But this season could take him to another level: from African icon to Premier League immortal.
