Kingsley Coman gives green light to Al-Nassr transfer; Bayern Munich ready to negotiate

French winger had sought Premier League switch before Saudi offer

Bayern Munich forward Kingsley Coman appears to be heading for the Saudi Pro League, with Al-Nassr emerging as his likely destination for next season. The 28-year-old French international, who had previously expressed interest in joining Manchester United or Liverpool, has now agreed to join Cristiano Ronaldo’s side.

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Al-Nassr have already submitted a formal proposal to Bayern Munich, with negotiations described as “well advanced.” While the exact transfer fee has not been disclosed, estimates suggest the deal could be worth around €30 million (approximately R$189 million).

Bayern’s Summer Exodus Continues

Coman’s potential departure adds to a growing list of exits from Vincent Kompany’s squad this transfer window. João Palhinha has left on loan to Tottenham Hotspur in search of regular Premier League football, with an option to make the move permanent. Club legend Thomas Müller ended his 25-year association with Bayern, signing for MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps.

Leroy Sané also departed during the Club World Cup, joining Galatasaray on a free transfer. The German winger is set to form a key attacking partnership in Turkey alongside Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.

Reshaping the Attack

To bolster the front line, Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Colombian winger Luis Díaz for a reported R$474 million. Kompany is also looking to integrate academy talents Jonah Kusi-Asare and Wisdom Mike into the senior squad, offering them game time during the season particularly in the Club World Cup.

If Coman’s transfer is finalized, Bayern’s first-choice attack is expected to feature Díaz on the wing, Harry Kane as the central striker, and Michael Olise on the opposite flank. However, the departures of Coman and a declining Serge Gnabry will leave the club relying heavily on their new signings to maintain offensive firepower.
