Bayern Munich contact Chelsea to discuss Nicolas Jackson transfer terms

Bayern Munich have approached Chelsea to explore the terms of a potential move for striker Nicolas Jackson, according to Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg. The 24-year-old forward, deemed transferable by the London club, is under contract at Stamford Bridge until June 2033.

The German side’s interest surfaced shortly after their 4-0 friendly victory over Tottenham on Thursday (7). While the squad impressed on the pitch, Bayern’s board was active off it, gathering details on the asking price and transfer conditions. Newcastle United are also reportedly monitoring the situation.

Chelsea are said to value Jackson at around €65 million, with earlier reports from Fichajes suggesting they may prefer a loan deal that includes an obligation to buy — a structure slightly above what some suitors are willing to pay.

Despite the club’s willingness to sell, Chelsea believe Jackson still has room to develop and could attract a higher future fee. Last season, the Senegal international made 37 appearances in all competitions, starting 31 times, scoring three goals, and registering six assists in his second campaign with the Blues.

If Bayern pursue a deal, they will have to move quickly to fend off competition from other Premier League sides and secure the long-term contract holder before the transfer window closes.
