Barcelona plans €50 million Harry Kane transfer in 2026 using Lewandowski playbook

Barcelona are eyeing Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane for the summer of 2026, with plans to replicate the same €50 million (R$315M) transfer strategy that brought Robert Lewandowski from Germany in 2022, according to El Nacional.

Lewandowski Model, Kane Replacement

With Kane’s contract expiring in June 2027 and the England captain turning 33 next year, Barça believe the price will be attainable. Sporting director Deco sees Kane as the ideal heir to Lewandowski matching his style, leadership, and proven scoring ability.

Competition From Premier League Giants

Manchester United are also set to chase Kane once the January 2026 window opens, but Deco is banking on Barcelona’s brand power and a project that would pair the striker with Lamine Yamal and Raphinha in attack.

Bayern Goal Machine

Since joining Bayern, Kane has scored 85 goals in just 96 matches, maintaining his reputation as one of the world’s elite forwards.

Doué Also on the Radar

In parallel, Barça are tracking PSG forward Désiré Doué, valued at €90M (R$568M), as part of their long-term vision to dominate Europe alongside Yamal. No formal bid has been made yet.
