Arsenal could sell Gabriel Martinelli to Saudi Arabia for a record €100 million

Arsenal may authorize the sale of Gabriel Martinelli to Saudi Arabia in what would become the club’s biggest transfer in history. According to Indy Kaila News, the final decision rests with the London side, which has been reorganizing its attack after the arrival of Eberechi Eze.
Historic deal on the table
If confirmed, the operation could reach R$586 million (€100m) a figure that would surpass all previous Arsenal sales. Currently, the club’s record belongs to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, sold to Liverpool in 2017 for €38 million.
For the Gunners, the valuation would represent an extraordinary return. In 2019, Arsenal paid just R$7 million to sign Martinelli from Ituano.
Martinelli struggles for consistency
Since arriving in London, the 23-year-old forward has shown flashes of brilliance but never fully secured an undisputed role under Mikel Arteta. In 226 appearances, he has scored 51 goals, often alternating between starting roles and coming off the bench.
The signing of Eberechi Eze has pushed Martinelli further down the pecking order, suggesting that Arsenal may be open to cashing in on the Brazilian.
Other Brazilians in doubt
The London club also faces questions about the future of Gabriel Jesus, who is losing space after the signing of Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres. Meanwhile, in Brazil, one of the country’s biggest clubs is closely monitoring the striker’s situation in case an opportunity arises.
