André Onana enters Inter Milan’s radar as a reinforcement for the rest of the season

André Onana could be on his way back to Italy. The Manchester United goalkeeper is no longer considered untouchable at Old Trafford, and Inter Milan has emerged as a strong candidate to secure his signing this summer.
Onana not in Amorim’s plans at United
Since the arrival of Rúben Amorim, the Cameroonian goalkeeper has lost space in the Red Devils’ squad. The manager does not see him as part of the club’s long-term project, and United’s board has already made it clear that they are open to selling him for around €30 million.
Inter Milan eyeing a reunion
According to Stretty News, Inter still dreams of repatriating Onana, who was one of the stars of their 2022/23 campaign before moving to Manchester. The Italians believe they could revive his best form and see him as a valuable alternative to Yann Sommer, with the possibility of rotating both keepers.
Negotiations and transfer scenario
For now, Inter has not yet submitted an official offer, but the club’s directors are studying ways to bring Onana back without a heavy financial outlay. United, on the other hand, is willing to facilitate his departure, aiming to recover part of the investment made in 2023.
Market interest beyond Italy
Besides Inter, clubs from the Middle East and other European leagues have also shown interest in Onana. However, his preference for a return to Serie A could weigh heavily in the negotiations.
If the deal goes through, the Cameroonian could once again wear the Nerazzurri shirt and relaunch his career at the club where he reached his peak.
